Gunjan Jain has the academic training and the talent to make The Mind Spa and The Mind Institute the talking points of Kolkata’s lifestyle industry.

Beautiful and poised, Gunjan Jain at 25 has a list of academic qualifications that would floor an university dean. She attained her Bachelor’s degree in Finance, majoring in Economics and Psychology from the University of Illinois in the US. An entire summer was spent studying at the London School of Economics, sponsored by her college. She completed her Masters with distinction in Investment Management from Cass Business School in London.
The finishing touch began with a course at the Institut Villa Pierrefue (IVP), the Swiss finishing school, and from there it was to Singapore to pass out as an Image Consultant from the London Image School. Not satisfied with this, she then completed her Doctorate by studying Integrated Healing from the California Institute of Hypnosis.


Having majored in finance, Gunjan joined her father Santosh Jain’s financial company, Blue Chip India Limited. Gunjan was responsible for the portfolio management of large-scale companies where she achieved an annual average return of 170 per cent on a base investment of over 20 million. Using her Midas gift, Gunjan made her father proud by raising large sums of money for the Arissan Group, the parent company.

Gunjan’s exposure to the world at large has enabled her to shrewdly guess opportunities that are on the horizon. “The lifestyle industry is the next big IT industry in the world; it is at a very nascent stage in India and the possibilities here are endless,” observes Gunjan.
